How does it all work!?

The competition... in a nutshell!

There are two stages to each competition heat; the 'Qualification Stage' and the 'Live Heats'.

There are 8 Qualification Stages and 8 Live heats, ending October 31st 2010.

Contestants must be aged 16 and over and have parental permission if under 18 years of age.

The TOP 5 contestants in each Live Heat go through to the finals + 1 'Wildcard Entry'.

How do we Qualify?

Get in there!

Most contestants that apply will have the chance to compete in the Qualification Stages.

When applying, you must ensure that you send medium - high resolution images. The main reason for declined applications is images too small or of low quality.

Contestants require 25 votes to proceed in the competition. A key to successful modelling is self promotion. Should a contestant find it difficult to self-promote they must be aware that this is essential in becomming successful - it's hard to get votes, but the industry is even harder!

How do I vote!?

Support your local contestant!

Each contestant is assigned a unique 'ID Number' located underneath their photo. To vote for your favorite contestant, simply text the word 'MODEL' (then a space) followed by their ID No. and send your message to 60040.

You can also vote by calling: 0901 307 4000 - type their ID No. on your keypad and hit the # (hash) key.
